Ecommerce Growth Marketing Measured on Profit

MyMarketingMetrics helps online stores grow sales across Google, Meta, search and email, with tracking you can trust. We judge success on profit per order, with platform ROAS as one input.

What our ecommerce growth service includes

We run the channels that move online sales and connect them with one set of numbers. You get a plan built around your margins, inventory and best customers.

  • Google Merchant Center setup, feed cleanup and Shopping or Performance Max campaigns
  • Meta prospecting and retargeting with product and video creative
  • Product, category and guide SEO with structured data
  • Lifecycle email: order confirmation, shipping, review requests and reorder reminders
  • Full-funnel tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Reporting on revenue, contribution profit and customer value

Tracking every order accurately

If purchases are not tracked correctly, every ad platform optimizes toward the wrong thing. We fix tracking before we scale spend.

For a D2C coffee and coffee-machine brand on WooCommerce, we built full-journey GTM and GA4 tracking with more than 40 custom dimensions. We sent purchase events server side through the GA4 Measurement Protocol and Meta Conversions API, and fixed attribution for orders that went through a third-party checkout. We also repaired the store's order email setup, which was quietly failing. Learn more about server-side tracking.

Shopping, feeds and paid media

Your product feed is the foundation of Google Shopping. Clean titles, correct prices, good images and accurate availability decide where and how often you show.

We prepare Merchant Center, fix disapprovals and organize products by margin and performance so budget flows to items that make money. On Meta, we pair product catalogs with creative from our creative studio. Everything follows platform policies, so your accounts stay in good standing.

Email and on-site experiences that drive repeat sales

Repeat customers are often the most profitable ones. We build email flows and on-site tools that bring people back.

For the coffee brand, we set up order-lifecycle emails including confirmation, shipping updates, a day-15 review request sent to every customer without review gating, and a day-30 restock coupon for customers who had consented to marketing. We also built a gift finder that emailed results, a delivery checker by postal code, a waitlist experience and a kit builder. Our ecommerce development team handles builds like these.

Measuring profit alongside ROAS

A high return on ad spend can still lose money once you count product cost, shipping, discounts and returns. We report on contribution profit alongside ROAS.

Say you spend $1,000 on ads and get $4,000 in sales. That looks like a 4x ROAS. If product, shipping and fees take $2,600, your profit after ads is $400. That is a hypothetical example, and your own numbers decide what ROAS you need to break even. Try our ROAS calculator to find yours.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do you work with Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes. We work with both, and with most common ecommerce platforms. We have built tracking, SEO content, email flows and custom on-site tools on WooCommerce, and we set up Shopify stores with GA4, Merchant Center and Meta integrations. We review your setup first, because each platform has its own tracking quirks and app conflicts.

Why do my GA4 and Meta numbers not match my store?

Each tool counts differently. Ad blockers, browser privacy limits, third-party checkouts, refunds and attribution windows all create gaps. Some gap is normal. Large gaps usually mean broken or duplicated tracking. We compare your platform data with store orders, find where events are lost and add server-side tracking where it helps.

What ROAS should I aim for?

It depends on your margins. A store with high margins can be profitable at a lower ROAS than one with thin margins and heavy shipping costs. We calculate your break-even ROAS from product cost, fees, shipping and returns, then set targets above it. Repeat purchase rates also matter, since some first orders are worth taking at a small loss.

Can you help us launch a new online store?

Yes. We can help with product research, sourcing analysis, store setup, tracking, feeds and launch campaigns. For new brands, we keep early ad budgets modest and focus on learning which products and messages work. Our ecommerce development team handles store builds, and the growth team takes over once you are ready to sell.
