Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use it and the choices you have. Effective date: October 21, 2026.

Who we are

This website is operated by MyMarketingMetrics ("we", "us" or "our"), based in the Greater Houston Area, Texas. This policy applies to our website, our Growth Lab tools, our forms and the marketing emails we send. Work we do for clients under a signed agreement is covered by that agreement.

This policy is written in plain English for clarity.

Information you give us

We collect information you choose to submit. This happens when you fill out a contact form, book a call, request results from a Growth Lab tool or sign up for email.

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, company name and website.
  • Project details: the services you are interested in, your budget range, your message and anything else you type into a form.
  • Scheduling details: the time you book and any notes you add.
  • Tool inputs: numbers you enter into calculators or planners, if you choose to save or email the results.

Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or health details through our forms.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Device and browser data: browser type, operating system, screen size and language.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page and the site or ad that referred you.
  • Approximate location: city or region based on your IP address.
  • Campaign data: tracking parameters in links, such as UTM tags and ad click IDs.

Some Growth Lab calculators run entirely in your browser. In that case, the numbers you enter stay on your device unless you choose to submit them to us.

Cookies, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We use cookies and similar tools to understand how our website is used and to improve it.

  • Google Tag Manager is a tool we use to manage the tracking code on our site. It does not itself build a profile of you, but it loads other tags such as analytics.
  • Google Analytics 4 helps us measure visits, pages and conversions. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. We set Google Analytics to keep user-level event data for no longer than 14 months.
  • Advertising tags. If we run ads, we may use tags from platforms such as Google Ads, Meta or LinkedIn to measure whether ads lead to inquiries. Where we send form conversions to these platforms from our server, we hash contact details first and follow the choices described in this policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your questions and schedule calls you request
  • To prepare proposals and deliver services you sign up for
  • To send Growth Lab results or resources you ask for
  • To send marketing emails where you have agreed or where the law allows
  • To measure and improve our website, content and advertising
  • To keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in or, where the law allows, to business contacts with a relevant existing relationship. We do not buy email lists.

Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and our business contact information. When you unsubscribe, we stop marketing emails to that address within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act, and usually much sooner. We may still send messages directly about a project, booking or agreement you have with us.

We may use email tools that record whether a message was opened or a link was clicked. We use this only to improve our emails.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business. We do not sell personal information for money.

  • Service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, CRM, email delivery, scheduling, analytics and automation tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms as described above.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
  • Business transfers, if our business is merged, sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.

Some state laws treat certain advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even when no money changes hands. Where that applies, you can opt out as described below.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or longer if the law requires it.

  • Inquiries and CRM records: while we have an active conversation or relationship, and typically up to three years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Client records: for the length of the engagement and as long as needed for contracts, tax and accounting.
  • Email subscription records: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what is needed to honor that choice.
  • Analytics data: event-level data for no longer than 14 months, as set in Google Analytics.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Many US states, including California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others, have passed consumer privacy laws. Some of these laws apply only to businesses above certain size thresholds, but we aim to honor reasonable requests from anyone.

These rights may include the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete information we hold about you
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information and certain profiling
  • Appeal our decision if we decline your request
  • Be free from discrimination for using these rights

To make a request, use our contact page or email info@mymarketingmetrics.com. We will verify your identity before acting, and we respond within the time the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, secure connections and trusted service providers. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children's privacy

Our website is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other sites and tools, such as booking or payment pages run by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please read them before sharing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will give notice on this page or by email where appropriate. Please also read our Terms of Use.
