What CRM development covers
CRM development is setting up and connecting the system where your leads, customers and deals live, so it matches how your business actually sells. It covers pipelines, fields, automations and integrations.
Many businesses buy a CRM and use a fraction of it. Leads come in from five places and only some reach the CRM. Stages mean different things to different people. Duplicates pile up, so the same homeowner gets three calls. Reports cannot answer basic questions like which ad source produced booked jobs.
We fix the structure first, then connect the tools around it. The goal is a CRM your team trusts enough to work from every day.
Custom pipelines built around your sales process
A pipeline should mirror the real steps between first contact and paid job. We build it from interviews with the people who use it.
A home-services pipeline might run from new lead, to contacted, to site visit booked, to estimate sent, to won or lost. A B2B pipeline might add discovery, proposal and contract stages. Each stage gets a clear definition, required fields, and an owner.
We also set up lost reasons, source fields and the tags that make reporting possible later. Without them, attribution stops at the form fill and you never learn which campaigns produce revenue.
GoHighLevel and field-service CRMs
We work in GoHighLevel and connect it to the field-service platforms many trades use to schedule and invoice jobs.
GoHighLevel is strong at capturing leads, texting, email sequences and appointment booking. Field-service CRMs are strong at dispatch, estimates, invoicing and job history. Many service companies need both. We have built flows where GoHighLevel captures and nurtures the lead, then Zapier passes a clean record into the field-service CRM once the lead is ready for scheduling.
For GoHighLevel we handle:
- Pipeline and custom field design
- Forms, calendars and booking flows
- Workflow automations for speed-to-lead texts and reminders
- Cleanup of unused tags, workflows and duplicate contacts
- Call and form conversion data sent back to ad platforms
If you use HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or another CRM, the same principles apply.
Duplicate prevention
Duplicate prevention checks for an existing record before creating a new one, so each customer exists once. It is the single most common fix we make.
Duplicates happen when the same person submits a form, calls, and fills out a lead ad. Each source creates its own record. Your team then calls the same person twice, reports count one lead as three, and history gets split across records.
We match on normalized phone numbers and email addresses, strip formatting differences, and decide which record wins when two match. New activity attaches to the existing contact instead of creating a fresh one. We apply the same checks at every entry point, including partner and retailer leads.
Lead routing
Lead routing sends each new lead to the right person or team automatically, based on rules you set. Fast, correct routing gets leads answered while they are still interested.
Rules can use service type, ZIP code or city, lead source, deal size, language or business hours. A generator inquiry can go to the generator team while an electrical repair goes to dispatch. After-hours leads can trigger a text acknowledgment and land at the top of the morning queue.
Routing ties into the wider follow-up system covered under revenue operations, and it is often built with the tools on our automation page.
